Maximum Tune 3 DX

Maximum tune has always been my fav game but i have stopped playing it forawhile coz
none of my friends right now is playing this game.

ALRIGHT READERS! MOVE OUT!~~ ( i know this sounds cocky)

This arcade game has existed since 2000 but its the rather 'old' version ( ver.1)and you wont find it almost anywhere. Lets just leave that version alone and focus on the newer BETTER-FREAKIN-ROCKIN-F###ing new version. And NOW INTRODUCING "Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3 DX".


First of all this is an arcade game so dont expect this game on your ps2 ps3 etc.
You can find it usually at the cinema but some game centres got some of these too.
The Arcade Machine of this game will look like this!!

Oh yeah , it costs you around 3k Rups to play one game so BUY SOME TOKENS.

the game is all about building and customizing your car. You could also do things like:
(i place the modes in order of importance for newbies)
- Story mode ( your typical campaign, story what ever you call it)


- Ghost Mode ( where you can battle other people's ghost)
- Versus Mode ( This is why people play this game! up to 4 players can battle !! WOOT !)


- Time Attack ( battle for the best time in a certain circuit)
- Outrun Mode ( rarely done and not so fun but it helps on tuning . The last thing you should do)

You MUST and MUST and MUST purchase a card!!!
A card will record your car's current status !!
it records practically everything so be sure to have one! Without it you will never enjoy THIS GAME!
A maximum tune 3 dx card will look like this

A MINI GUIDE FROM ME =
1a. Make a card ( preferably a mistsubishi evo 8 <- imba car good newb car too!up to you tough)

1b. NEVER USE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION NEVER EVER it reduces handling and power! sure manual is hard but practice makes perfect! Auto sux man.. i cant stress any more.

2. PLay ghost mode 2 x ( to get 1st bodykit and 1st set of rims)

3. play story until you have at least 800 horsepower ( if its not 800 than its weak period)

4. PLay ghost mode until you get your Gt wing 3D model!( imba wing)

5 . NOW YOU HAVE A GOOD ( not the best) CAR annd its ready to beat some average records and also kick someone else's butt in versus mode!

6. you may want to continue to 825 hp by playing story but i stoped at 815 horsepower!


7. you may also want to tune your car's visual appearance more by playing ghost mode more!

if you reached this point your car is godlike!

but most people stop at 815 and tune the visual appearance first before they reach 825!

a MAXIMUM TUNED car!


There are a number of tracks or circuits you can choose from !! <- where you race


- C1 inbound
- new belt line
- osaka
- hakone
- nagoya
- Yokohane
- wangan line

But in MAXIMUM TUNE there is this unique feature where the leader of the race can choose the next direction of the race ( not applicable in story but it does in VS mode)

In maximum tune you can gather coins or some ppl say stars


you get coins like these when you win against other persons!

Its primary use is only only for showing off and getting new cool ranks actually but eventually you will get loads of them lol!
